I'm posting this here mostly as a challenge to myself.
It's time to create.
I've laid aside most of my creative endeavors for the last year or so. There were lots of reasons. Life has been busy and stressful. Fear. I had started a small business selling jewelry, and frankly, it scared me. I'm not sure why - fear of failing, fear of complications, fear of how to handle it all? I don't really know.
But I need to start making things. There's an itch in my soul and in my fingers. It's time.
One more week of school and work, then it will be summer break! Yeah!!
I already have quite a todo list for the summer of both necessary chores and fun things we want to do. But I need to make the time to create and I need to make it a priority.
Anybody else feeling the itch to make things? What do you like to create?

we have just moved into more 'permanent housing' and i have had so much fun decorating and creating things for my kids rooms. i have made pillows, decorations (pink's room is funky butterflies and buck's is a castle theme).
but i can't wait to be settled in enough to give myself permission to start doing 'non-home' type of things again.
can't wait to hear about what you're fingers are itching to create!
